On the ball with wildlife protection!

For those involved in farming and agriculture and rural affairs generally, it is becoming vital that you hire a professional pest control company who will work to keep you and your business operating within the law which is why we are proud to have achieved Wildlife Aware status.

For some years now the use of SGAR (Second Generation Anticoagulant Rodenticides) have been having a devastating effect upon the wildlife population throughout Europe, whether this is through deliberate illegal poisoning of non target species, irresponsible use of rodenticides deployed by incompetent users (including so called “professional” pest control companies) or by secondary poisoning to animals who prey on rodents thus ingesting lethal amounts of toxic residue still saturating the carcasses of these animals.

The pest control industry as a whole has been taking a long hard look at themselves, and as a result have teamed up with CRRU and BASIS respectively and out of this has come the Wildlife Aware accreditation, awarded to individuals who genuinely support CRRU (Campaign for Responsible Rodenticide Use).

We believe that education amongst the countryside fraternity is key in implementing correct procedures within their own farms and rural retreats and the wider environment, and not applying huge amounts of poison to rectify all pest situations.

We believe that this authentic accreditation will enable us to set higher, more efficient standards in rural areas.
