Project Completion: Botham’s Bakeries New Factory, Whitby
We at H. Pickup Mechanical & Electrical are proud to announce the successful completion of our work on the new Botham’s Bakeries factory in Whitby. Our team was entrusted with the full scope of mechanical and electrical services for this major expansion, which has tripled the size of the original facility.
Electrical Works
We delivered the complete electrical design package for the new factory and office spaces, including:
- Design and installation of energy-efficient and emergency lighting systems
- Installation of new submains and an upgraded main panel board
- Complete small power and three-phase circuit installations to support the enhanced operational needs of the facility
Mechanical Works
Our mechanical department was responsible for the design and installation of:
- New water and gas mains
- Hot and cold-water services
- Heating systems, including new boilers
We also provided a comprehensive ventilation solution, which included:
- A 600mm ducting system to support the comfort heating and cooling system
- A state-of-the-art air handling unit
- Dedicated supply and extract ventilation for the factory’s main ovens
