Monster Cleaning Company was Started by Mike Simcox in 2014. Mike had been a Manager for a large national carpet retailer until 2006 and had left to go into the entertainment industry. After being in the entertainment industry for 8 years, lots of travelling and late nights, he decided it was time for a change. But to what? Mike had excellent knowledge of carpets and had worked for a cleaning company in the late 80’s, so it seemed that maybe carpet cleaning was the way to go. Investing in what he needed and advertising, Mike setup Monster Cleaning Company and business started to build quite nicely. After cleaning some carpets at a flat for an estate agent after a tenant had moved out, Mike was packing up his equipment when the estate agent popped in. She was unhappy with the company who had supposedly cleaned the rest of the flat, as it wasn’t a very good job. Mike simply said, “well. I am sure I could manage that for you.” He did. The agency were pleased, and started using Mike for all their post tenant cleans and more.

This is where the story really begins. Word soon spread and with a few emails, leaflets, word of mouth and other agencies came on board. Then it became apparent no one wanted the REALLY tough cleans. The ones you see on the TV. The extreme cleans. By now, having built up a myriad of equipment. Carpet Cleaners, Steam Cleaners, Caustic tank for oven cleaning, Deodorisers etc. As well as contacts within the industry that supplies specialist chemicals and products, Suiting up to complete these extreme cleans was an easy step. Now Monster Cleaning Company has a large client base inc: various housing associations, local authorities, agents, student lets (inc medical students) as well as private individuals all using Monster Cleaning Company on a regular Basis for ALL their cleans.
