Hello there!
Welcome to our cosy, countryside wood cabin, Bathingwell Lodge, right in the heart of the Golden Triangle in North Yorkshire. Built from scratch by the owner Martin Burgoyne, we wanted to create a space for day trippers and travellers alike to rest while they explore the beauty of North Yorkshire, just minutes away from Wetherby, Harrogate and York. Architecturally designed and furnished with love, we provide a luxury stay with a rural atmosphere designed to keep you as comfortable as possible, all the while enjoying the beautiful English countryside. We guarantee you will love your stay with us and try to accommodate each stay! Dogs are also very welcome with plenty of walks in the local area to keep them occupied. We hope to see you soon!

Who am I

I am Martin, I have lived and worked in Harrogate my whole life and thoroughly enjoyed every second building the cabin, I put a lot of hard work into making sure it would be just right for myself and I hope that others can see that too. My house’s original name was Bathingwell Cottage which was the home of the Head Gardener of Wighill Park Estate owned by Lord Hawk in days gone and I thought it was a fitting name for the cabin. I have tried to think of everything I would expect in a country lodge that I would stay in on a trip away. A place where both friends and family can enjoy, feel comfortable and safe while enjoying amazing views and a relaxing setting. The hot tub is a must and when the sun is setting you don’t get much better! I’ve also recently added a proper pizza oven which can be used, just give me a shout for dough or anything else you may need, I will always do my best to accommodate! Thanks and hopefully see you there
