ROOF CLEANING & MOSS REMOVAL
AGP Cleaning use our state-of-the-art soft-washing equipment to provide a high quality roof cleaning service. We are based in Scarborough and currently cover Scarborough, York, Pickering, Malton and Whitby including the surrounding areas in North Yorkshire.
This means we do not come along and pressure-wash your roof as we realise this can potentially damage most roof tiles with the likelihood of water been forced under the roof tiles and creating inevitable flood problems.
When we arrive to clean your roof our operators are harnessed onto the roof to eliminate slips, trips or falls. We then begin to closely inspect the condition of the roof replacing tiles and/or re pointing any damaged areas.
Once this has been successfully completed we then begin to physically remove 90% of the moss by hand with our specialist hand tools and blowers, once the guttering has been cleared of debris then we can begin to chemically treat the roof with a highly concentrated fungicide killing off any organic growth which may be spreading underneath the roof tiles and overlaps causing future problems and expense. This in turn leaves the roof looking like brand new and restores the original colour.
